Science publishes article about BPRC: a significant moment for primate research
The prestigious scientific journal Science has published an article about us. It highlights the potential impact of political developments in the Netherlands this summer, which could severely restrict primate research.
The article emphasizes the importance of BPRC as a leading research institute and the crucial role that research involving primates plays in international biomedical science. It also notes that the Netherlands aims to be a frontrunner in the development of alternatives to animal testing. In line with this goal, BPRC already allocates 17% of its budget to modern non-animal testing methods.
